I also have to compliment the author on her wonderful flights of imagination . I read this book straight through and would suggest it to anyone who wants a smart, elegant and absorbing companion book.

This is a rare novel as it is as accessible as it is intelligent. There is a surprise on every page. It reads seamlessly....and fast. It starts from ordinary and takes you swiftly into the extraordinary. I couldn't put it down and then couldn't stop thinking about it. It's as smart as it is good. Also shocking.
"Her First Marriage", by Julia Sokol is just the kind of book I love- romantic, suspenseful and full of surprises. I stayed up all night turning pages to find out how this complex plot would ever be resolved. The protagonist, Mari Marinoski is attractive, accomplished and hard working but she is also very human. When she meets "Mr. Right" he seems too good to be true, but she pushes aside the warning flags forges ahead with the relationship. That's where the fun begins! Unpredictable twists and turns keep the suspense level high as the plot moves along at a fast clip, this book does not disappoint. It is a fun, fast and exciting read!
